Silver Dollar City and Project Lead The Way are proud to present the first annual Engineering Day Design Challenge! This educational event will take place at Silver Dollar City on September 30, 2016. There will be a design challenge surrounded by the concept of recycle, reuse and repurpose a current structure, promoting the experience of teamwork and presentation skills. Teams can be made up of a minimum of 2 students and no more than 4. Registration will begin at 9:00am at the Guest Relations booth upon entering the park. Presentations will be at the Opera House theater from 10:00am-12:00pm. At 1:30pm there will be comments from a park engineer and some of the judges. Prizes will be given to the highest scoring solution from an 8th grade team and the highest scoring solution from a High School Team. All schools and students are welcome to participate.
