Blacksmith - Brad Johnson

History has always appealed to Brad Johnson. He was introduced to blacksmithing in 1979 while working in an interpretive history program at a remote Boy Scout ranch in New Mexico. He liked the self-sufficient lifestyle and spent nine summers teaching blacksmithing. He came to Silver Dollar City more than two decades ago as a knife maker, then as a blacksmith, becoming a Master Craftsman. All you need in blacksmithing is an anvil and a hammer, he says, and you can make everything else.
