Attractions Intern

The Attractions Intern is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of all the aspects of Guest Services and Attractions Operations department. This division features over 40 rides and attractions and is home to one of Missouri’s deepest caves. Below are a few job responsibilities and objectives:

  • Serve as an Attractions Host and PIC (Person in Charge) at Guest Services and Attractions operations
  • Participate in Leadership and Safety meetings
  • Learn about roles and responsibilities of leadership
  • Learn scheduling and time keeping procedures
  • Assist with written communication
  • Assist with Guest Services and Attractions Team projects including surveys, appreciation events, team outings and company events
  • Ensures proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
  • Complete one project benefiting at least one Guest Services and Attractions area as determined by management

Entertainment & Events Intern

Maintenance & Construction Intern 

As a Maintenance & Construction Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about the maintenance and upkeep of our fun, award-winning attractions. Below are a few job responsibilities and objectives:

  • Assist/shadow executing maintenance strategies and objectives
  • Shadow all areas of the maintenance team such as House & Grounds, Landscaping, Rides, Welding, Machine Shop, Utilities, Steam Train, Paint Shop, Warehouse and Auto Shop
  • Shadow the work of contractors on the construction site and learn site area development.
  • Ability to learn and utilize knowledge of construction industry standards, shadowing meetings and presentations on such topics
  • Shadow and develop an awareness of working closely with the SDC Safety team for construction and guest
  • Other duties that may be assigned

Marketing Intern

As a marketing intern, you will assist in the Advertising/Publicity departments with photo/video shoots, special events, mailings, advertising print process, telephones, and special projects. Below are a few job responsibilities and objectives:

  • Assist in executing marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate various marketing fulfillment duties including direct mail, packages, letters, press kits.
  • Coordinate and submit stories for Pathfinder, our park program.

Showboat Branson Belle Culinary Intern
