(Branson, Missouri 7/19/2021) The warmest days of the summer bring cool nighttime fun for families at Silver Dollar City, where extended hours and light-the-night activities fire up a last blast of summer celebration. The 16 days of Silver Dollar City’s Moonlight Madness begin Saturday, July 24 and run through Sunday, August 8 at the Branson theme park, highly awarded as one the top attractions destinations in America.

Night rides and drop-in-the-dark thrills include 40 rides open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., July 24 – August 8, with two nights open even later with Midnight Madness, July 31 & August 7. Every night at 8pm, the skies light up with an impressive fireworks display (nightly fireworks are sponsored by Humana).

Rides soaring at night include Time Traveler, the world’s fastest, steepest and tallest spinning coaster, and the world-famous wood coaster Outlaw Run, voted as one of the Top 10 Coasters in America by USA Today’s 10Best. Mystic River Falls lights up and splashes down as Silver Dollar City’s newest river adventure with a record-setting splashdown, and over 20 family adventures offer moonlit exploration aplenty for kids. The famous Harlem Globetrotters continue their Skills Showcase with tip-off, trick-shot mastery.

Music group Prince Ivan leads family games on the Gazebo Stage and emcees nightly street dances on the Square, with music from hip-hop and rock-and-roll to the Chicken Dance and the Macarena. In Echo Hollow Amphitheater, a family-fun dance band, Eastern Heights, keeps the energy high each night, culminating in the fireworks finale (concerts are sponsored by Arvest Bank).

There are more than 12 hours a day to play during Moonlight Madness at Silver Dollar City, plus special deals, rates and savings after 5 p.m. exclusive to this sundown summer event.
