Cool Summer Fun

Summer is all about fun in the sun, but it’s important to take time out to cool down, too. Luckily, Silver Dollar City offers the best of both worlds with tons of outdoor adventure and plenty of opportunities to chill out, too!

1. Jump On A Water Ride!

There's no better way to splash into cool summer fun than on Mystic River Falls® – featuring the Tallest Drop In The Western Hemisphere! Each twist, turn and dip along this river expedition is another chance to get completely drenched and that’s before you even get to the 45-foot final splashdown!

Other water-soaked adventures for the whole family include American Plunge and Tom & Huck’s RiverBlast. Plus, your little ones will have just as much fun playing among the misters and bubblers at the Firehouse Splashyard as you will watching them.

2. Go Deep and Take A Cave Tour

Another great way to cool off is to explore the magnificent Marvel Cave, Missouri’s deepest cavern. This underground wonder is always a cool 60 to 65 degrees. Tours are included with your Silver Dollar City ticket or Season Pass and depart frequently throughout the day.

3. Air-Conditioned Attractions To Explore

There are several indoor, climate-controlled attractions to enjoy including The Flooded Mine, Fire-In-The-Hole, the Firehouse Play Place and Grandfather’s Mansion.

Silver Dollar City also has scores of air-conditioned shops to browse, many of which host daily craft demonstrations.

4. Sneak Inside A Show

Take a seat for incredible entertainment in shady covered outdoor theaters featuring signature Silver Dollar City shows like Down By The Riverside in the Dockside Theater as well as visiting bands and entertainers. And, of course, you can't miss Showdown at the Silver Dollar in the Silver Dollar Saloon.

5. Cool & Refreshing Treat Breaks

Deliciously cool and frosty treats are plentiful at concessions and eateries throughout Silver Dollar City. Hannah’s Ice Cream Parlor on the Square features hand-dipped ice cream treats. Creamy soft-serve is available at Cokes & Floats in Rivertown as well as Cakes & Cones near the entrance of the Grand Exposition. Dippin’ Dots, Soft Frozen Lemonade and ICEE® carts are located in most areas of the park, too.

Tip: If you forgot sun protection, don’t worry – sunscreen, sunglasses and hats are available at shops including Hospitality House, Ozark Marketplace and Lucky’s Toys just to name a few.

Complete your cool Branson adventure with a trip to White Water featuring 13 acres of slides and waves or enjoy a show, meal & cruise aboard the Showboat Branson Belle on beautiful Table Rock Lake!
