Managing Attendance Capacity
Masks and Face Coverings
Per the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), face coverings/masks covering both the nose and mouth are required for all guests ages 3 and up and employees at this time, with some exceptions. The purpose of masks is to keep respiratory droplets from reaching others to aid with source control. Masks with one-way valves or vents allow exhaled air to be expelled out through holes in the material. This can allow exhaled respiratory droplets to reach others and potentially spread the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, per CDC recommendation, we do not allow masks if they have an exhalation valve or vent.
Some of the exceptions where masks are not required are while eating/drinking (remaining stationary and maintaining social distancing), on water park attractions and when in designated “mask-free” zones while maintaining social distancing.
If you have a disability that prevents you from wearing a face covering/mask, our alternative accommodation is for you to bring a face shield to wear during your visit. Face shield must cover nose and mouth. If face shields are used without a mask, they should wrap around the sides of the wearer’s face and extend to below the chin. Wearing a face shield as an accommodation must be approved by our customer service center. Please note that face shields are not permitted on rides and attractions, and guests will have to switch to a face covering/mask for those experiences.
In these unprecedented times, wearing a mask or face covering shows mutual respect and care for fellow guests and our team members who serve you while visiting the park.
