Southern Gospel’s Biggest Stars Shine, Aug 27-Sep 7
August 25, 2026
OZARK MOUNTAINS, Mo. (Aug 25, 2026) —Southern Gospel's biggest names are coming together in the Heart of the Ozarks as Silver Dollar City's beloved Southern Gospel Picnic returns Aug. 27 through Sept. 7. Featuring more than a week of inspiring performances, joyful worship and down-home comfort food, the festival has become one of the genre's premier annual celebrations.
"There's something special about hearing these timeless songs echo through the Ozark hills," said Amanda Carson, Entertainment Supervisor at Silver Dollar City. "Whether you've loved Southern Gospel your whole life or are a new fan, this festival brings people together through music, faith and fellowship in a way that's uniquely Silver Dollar City."
Like a bucket list of the best in music, groups will take the stage at the park’s indoor and outdoor venues throughout the festival. Each evening, Silver Dollar City's 4,000-seat Echo Hollow® Amphitheatre welcomes nationally acclaimed Southern Gospel artists for headline concerts beginning at 6 p.m., with seating opening at 5 p.m. Featured performers include The Isaacs, The Inspirations, The Hoppers, The Martins, Triumphant Quartet, Karen Peck & New River and Greater Vision.
The celebration extends beyond the stage with Southern-inspired dining throughout the park. At The House of Chicken & Fixin's inside Mollie's Mill restaurant, guests can enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat feast featuring Southern-style fried chicken, chicken divan, garlic parmesan chicken meatloaf, plus classic sides, including Tuscan white beans, green beans & potatoes with bacon, macaroni & cheese, zucchini & tomatoes, corn casserole, vegetable pie and garden fresh salad bar.
