When the opportunity to train as a taffy craftsman presented itself, Fairfield, Iowa, native Christy Tague jumped at the chance to demonstrate the art and science of taffy making to Silver Dollar City guests at Phoebe Snapp Taffy located on the City’s Square. Christy says she loves working with food and creating new recipes so being able to grow in this new role is a perfect fit. “I love watching the guests’ excitement and interest in seeing how taffy is made,” Christy says.
