Every Sunday the park is open, join friends and neighbors gather for a soul-stirring worship service in Silver Dollar City's one-room country church.
Known as The Wilderness Church, the structure is a vintage log chapel originally built in 1849 on nearby Bear Creek. It was dismantled log by log, lovingly rebuilt in its current location, and dedicated on July 10, 1960.
A giant sycamore tree that once stood on the site was hand carved into the church's pulpit by Lester Vining, and is still used today. Step inside and enjoy this quaint and peaceful sanctuary, offering serene views of Ozark Mountain woodland.
